Hi reader(s), finally we are on holiday after some struggles in our exam. We can finally have some time to go around Ipoh for some food hunt again :)
This time we were at Gunung Rapat, Ipoh. After reading a post from Motormouth, we got attracted and went there.
What's so attractive?
We feel that it's kinda special to have almost all vegetables being stuffed with the fish paste.. It really turn our eyes to became like this when we first saw the pictures--> O.o
Believe it not?

Check this out..
This too...

See carefully at those fish paste being stuffed or sticked to the vegetables.. Have you seen any yong tau fu like that before? Haha.. Creative isn't it?
Despite of the unique appearance of the food, it tastes better than we imagine.. They were boiled which was a healthier choice compare to Dai Shu Geok. We personally prefer Kwong Hong's version :)

We had our breakfast earlier before we went to this place so we just ordered the the yong tau fu.. Total bill of the 3 bowls of yong tau fu above was about RM 20.00. It was very reasonable we could say as all of use the tummies of 4 of us were fully filled.
(You can serve this with choices such as curry noodles, soup noodles and so on..)

Wide selections of yong tau fu were placed in front of the restaurant. As we were early on that day and there were still a lot of yong tau fu were yet to serve.
Overall, the food was good and the soup taste delicious as well. The only downside is that we waited kinda long for the food to be served.
Do drop by to the houses nearby to grab some souvenirs (Heong Piah 香饼) and other traditional confectionery for friends and family too :)
Location : Kedai Kopi Kwong Hong
Jalan Gunung Rapat, Gunung Rapat, Ipoh.
We are unsure on their operating hours but we went there at around 11:30am and more yong tau fu are being placed on the tables.
(This shop is located just opposite the morning market/pasar pagi of Jalan Gunung Rapat)
